Our organization WHER is happy to launch the Emergency Response Initiative (ERI Support) for LGBTIQ Community in Nigeria. The overall goal of this project is to contribute to the promotion of the human rights of LGBTIQ people in Nigeria by building their resilience and supporting them to handle and endure emergencies, crises, and shocks and to deepen their healing and wellness practices. We will be providing emergency safety and security, healing, health and wellbeing, temporary shelter, legal, psychosocial support services to LGBTIQ people in Nigeria. This emergency support is also open for organizations who wish to sustain their emergency shelter or respond to LGBTIQ people at risk. Support includes, but is not limited to:
a) Medical expenses 
b) Legal representation
c) Police Bail
d) Temporary relocation or emergency shelter
e) Sustainability at an emergency shelter
f) Basic needs such as food
g) Security 
h) Other types of urgent expenses
This call is open to all Nigerian LGBTQI persons and LGBTIQ organizations in need of emergency support.
